FRANKLIN LIBRARY PUBLIC ART COMMISSION: two 6'x6' glass mosaics for over the interior fireplaces, "World Language," panel designed by Marilyn Lindstrom and American Indian panel designed by Robert Desjarlait. See artist statement. Sponsored by: Minneapolis Public Library. Additional support from Mdewakaton Sioux Community, Minneapolis Foundation, Anonymous. JEREMIAH PROGRAM: "Hand to Heart," mosaics, 2003. Marilyn Lindstrom w/ Associate Mali Kouanchao. Tile, glass, mirror and clay. 3'2" by 6'4", over front doorway and four gateway pillars, 17 mosaics with participation of women residents of the program, sponsored by Jeremiah Program & City of Minneapolis. Winner of CUE (Committee on Urban Environment) Award. Located 1510 Laurel Avenue, Minneapolis.
   
MARSHFIELD HIGH SCHOOL: "Peace, Compassion and Hope," 2004, 18' by 7.5' mosaic tile with high school students, staff and community.
 
HOPE COMMUNITY: "Mosaic Conversations," 2002, mosaic tile. Intermedia Art's People, Places, Connection, lead by Marilyn Lindstrom & assistant Mali Kouanchao, with community residents.




 
POWERHORN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: 5'x5' mosaic tile with 4th graders
